USURP-RISES Punk Rock Festival

The challenge was to create a fictional event based off of an excerpt in Raymond Queneau’s Exercises In Style. USURP-RISES is a play-on name combining “usurp”, meaning to take power from, and “surprises”, the title of my chosen excerpt. This poster was then created using the tone of the original text as inspiration.
