Annota Mobile App Design

Annota is an all-in-one app for readers of all kinds! It allows you to keep track of your reading, annotate your favorite books, and see what your friends are reading through book reviews and discussions.
Process
We were tasked to create an app from beginning to end, including extensive research and recording our process step-by-step.
Before jumping into designing interfaces, we listed out any “needs”, both product and user, to learn what consumers need in order to interact with in the app. Creating a User Persona to further understand user needs.
I found that many book tracking apps do not have a social media interactive aspect. As a result, I wanted Annota to embody an all-in-one type app for all readers to socialize with friends and post about their favorite books.
